A Lazy Girl’s Fashion Guide

Lets just face it getting ready for a party of any sort is an ordeal. First, youre going to have to pick a good outfit. Next, youre going to have to match accessories to said outfit. Then, its all about the makeup, the hair, the shoes, and everything else that nobody will really care about after the big bash is done. Its pretty draining, so if youre like me, you probably want to get your stuff done as easily as possible. Heres a guide to the easiest way to put yourself together every day.

  1. Pick out foolproof outfits. A very nice, single color dress or one piece outfit is the easiest way to make your entire look appear coordinated. The reason for this is that you don’t really have much space to actually mismatch anything. If you have to wear a two piece outfit, then opt for black leggings and a nice top. This works for a similar reason.

  2. Tailor your closet to a handful of different colors. If you want to keep your thinking process to a bare minimum, then by all means, minimize the number of colors that you keep in your closet. Black, white, and up to three colors is plenty.

  3. Don’t skimp on accessories, but don’t overdo it, either. Accessories are often what make the outfit. The cool thing about accessories is that most accessories can go from day to night in a blink of an eye. Accessories also have the added luxury of being wearable by people of all size. Before you head out, toss on a necklace or a bracelet and ring, and you’re good to go.

  4. Pick out comfortable black shoes as your go-to shoes. Black goes with everything, and when you’re dealing with shoes, they almost always look sharp. Comfort is always in style, and it’s just easier to make things match when you have a couple pairs of snuggly yet fashionably shoes. If you need to have a second pair of colored shoes, opt for tan shoes. Tan tends to work well with many outfits, too.

  5. Minimize your wardrobe. You would be surprised at how quickly you can put together an outfit by actually paring down your options. Too many options means that every outfit will take a bit more effort, which in turn isn’t very easy on you.

  6. Look for low maintenance wear. Part of being able to be lazy yet put together is ensuring that your laundry load won’t be too demanding. Sadly, many of the cutest outfits fit into the “dry clean only” category, and no one really has time for that. If you want to get the most out of your outfits, look for ones that are easy to clean and don’t require ironing.

Being lazy doesnt mean that you have to sacrifice style, and thats partly a wonder of living in todays modern age. Its never been easier to look put together, and for those of us who just dont want to have to fuss about outfits, thats a blessing. Can we get an amen?
