I was pleased with this month’s Birchbox.
Birchbox November 2014

Products in the box:

amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo, Retail Value $21, Sample value $6.75

So far this is the only dry shampoo I have tried that I like. It did put a bit of a white cast in my hair but it brushed out easily. It has a light floral scent that doesn’t last enough that I can smell it throughout the day.

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream, Retail Value $48, Sample Value $6

This is supposed to be a deeply hydrating moisturizer. I haven’t tried it yet. My face is becoming a bit drier with the cold weather but not enough to need intense moisture. This is the product I was least excited about.

Gilchrist & Soames Spa Therapy Body Wash, Retail Value $15, Sample Value $2.53

I like this. It smells good and cleans well. It doesn’t stand out as amazing but I do like it. I don’t think it’s worth $15.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive, Retail Value $39, Sample Value $5.07

I really wish this sample was larger. It is only large enough for one use most likely. There is a full strength version of this peel too. I would probably get that one if I decided to purchase.

theBalm cosmetics Cindy-Lou Manizer, Retail Value $24, Sample Value $1.60

This was the most exciting product in the box. I already have Mary-Lou Manizer, which I adore. This is a peachy golden glow. Perfect for fall. I love this one too. I may have to buy it.

Birchbox Costs $10 a month. November’s box had a value of $21.95. Check out Birchbox here.
