Chair Thief

I stole a chair.

Well, I didn’t really steal it, I took it from another office in my building. The guy who was using it quit so he obviously didn’t need it.

It was sitting in that dark office all alone. It has wheels, arm rests, and could be raised up and down. The chair I was using was circa 1980 and is not comfortable. It doesn’t have wheels. It doesn’t fit under the desk. In fact, it isn’t even a desk chair!

So I took the one from the other office.

I have been told by several people to take it before someone else does. Yesterday I finally got up the nerve and swiped it.

I put another chair that was in the other office in place of the swiped chair.

That chair was broken.

The back just kept going and going if you leaned back.

Today I hear voices coming from that other office. Someone sat in the broken chair. Someone asked what happened to the other chair, the one I swiped.

That someone was pregnant and almost fell out of the broken chair.

I feel so terrible.

This chair is MUCH more comfortable.

I’m not giving it back.

Luckily she didn’t fall on the floor. She had a small scare! lol

Lol!  I wouldn't feel too bad, though.
