I Hate Swimsuits

Haven’t had a good cry in a while? Go try on bathing suits. It’s better than stubbing your pinkie toe for tear flowage.

Swimsuits are the worst part of summer for most women, so here are some ideas that may help.

Modcloth has some adorable swimsuits that will flatter most figures. This one is so awesome! At $89.99 it’s not the most affordable option, but it’s probably worth it.

Shop the Esther Williams Collection.

If you are looking for something that will fit well and still be flirty, Athleta has this great suit for $79.They also have great styles if you are looking for something more athletic inspired.

Victoria’s Secret is mostly known for their barely there bikinis, but check out the MagicSuits. The smooth and sculpt. It’s basically like wearing shapewear. The suits are pricy though This one is $188.50 or $192.5o for plus sizes.

Tankinis are still going to be hot this summer. And of course, so are bikinis. If you have a bikini heart but tankini modesty, try this adorable suit from Venus Swimwear. You can pick your bottoms separately so you can choose how much coverage you want. The top is $36 and bottoms run $26-$36. They have moderate, full coverage, shorts, and skirts.

With all the different styles available, the best thing to do is (cringe) just go try some on. You don’t have to buy the styles you can find locally. Just get an idea of what works for your body. YOUR body, not the models. If you focus on what looks best on you, you can find a swimsuit that will flatter you.

Take a buddy. You can hand each other tissues and give honest opinions that aren’t based on your own view of your body.

What style of suit are you most likely to buy this year? I’m undecided!
