Better late than never right? This is my first month getting the Ipsy box so I wanted to make sure that I really knew what I wanted to say.

The package came in this hot pink bubble envelope which made me totally excited to see what was inside! The contents were in a small pink makeup bag. I love the size of the bag. It’s perfect to fit in my purse. I’m carrying Miche’s demi purse these days.

The product I was the most excited about was the full size Zoya nail polish in Odette. I used it without a base coat, two coats of polish, and Sally Hansen’s InstaDry. It stayed on for three days without chipping or fading. It probably would have stated on longer, but I change my polish really often. It was a slight challenge to remove and I ended up using my acetone remover. The color was amazing. I love it! $9.00

The other full size product was City Color Be Matte Blush in Fresh Melon. I really like this blush. It went on well and stayed all day. It is a good color for me. Not too bright not too sheer. It did stay matte all day, which is good because I have combination skin. $2.99

The Plump Pout Mini by POP Beauty in Peony Petal looked a lot brighter that the lips colors I usually wear. Their website says, “This plumping pout perfector combines the high-shine of a lacquered gloss with the long wear of a stain and is packed full of lip-plumping peptides and avocado & jojoba oils. Lightweight, creamy texture immediately merges with lips & delivers intense glossy colour for an extremely long-lasting finish!” I didn’t really notice any plumping other than what a gloss normally gives you, but it wasn’t sticky and the color was actually really lovely. $16

The Velvet Gel by PHYTO-C was a sample. The website says, “The PHYTO-C Velvet Gel reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while nourishing, hydrating, and softening the skin. Can be used as primer before applying makeup.” I used this as a primer ad it barely took any at all of the product to cover my whole face. Just a drop. It was light, almost like a liquidy gel. It worked great, but for my combination skin I do prefer a mattifying primer. $64 for 15ml Est. Sample value $20.

J. Cat Beauty Eyelashes + Eye Lash Glue was a fun surprise. I have never actually tried false eyelashes before. It says on the box the lashes can be used 10 times. I got EL01, which look quite long.  I have to admit I haven’t tried these yet. I need to watch some videos about how to put them on so if you have any suggestions for videos or for how to put to false lashes, leave a comment below! $3.99

Overall I was really happy with this box. I will use the nail polish, blush, and lipgloss regularly. Cost $10 Value $52
