January’s List

January 2, 2014

in Confessions

I have decided that instead of making yearly resolutions this year, I’m going to make a monthly list. Each month I will come up with a list of projects, ideas, to dos and set out to get those accomplished. January’s list is looking pretty exciting!

1. Buy a 5 shelf bookcase for the new office area. Rearrange and style all bookcases.

2. Finish styling the dining area.

3. Learn to knit throw pillows. Knit two pillows for the sofa. Knit one pillow for my bed.

4. Try two new recipes that I might not have tried before.

5. Read 3 books.

6. Exercise 3 times a week every week.

7. Write 2 poems.

8. Write 5,000 words of fiction.

What do you want to accomplish this month?

I love the idea of monthly resolutions! There’s so much I want to do this year, I think I have a better possibility of accomplishing it all if I break it down into monthly resolutions. 🙂

My resolutions for January include organizing my FIL’s kitchen, where I do most of my cooking. Also on my list….get back to blogging regularly on both of my blogs, commenting more on my fave blogs, tackling the pile of laundry in my room, building a rack for my nail polish collection, reading 3 or 4 books this month, and making at least 2 recipes from the 4 magazines I subscribe to.

Happy New Year!

I found some great shelves at Target for my nail polish collection. Commenting more on blogs needs to be on my list too!
