- I have accepted the Pen to Paper Challenge as part of being a Pearista with Pear Tree Greetings
- Pearista is a group of bloggers sponsored by Pear Tree Greetings that value the power of connecting through stationery
- Pear Tree Greetings is an online stationery company that loves to help people connect, whether it's via a personalized note card, Christmas Card or birth announcement.
- For the challenge, I'll be writing a hand-written note once a week for the next four weeks. (Do I still have an address book? People still use addresses right? Physical addresses. Mail boxes.)
- I'll be blogging about what writing a hand-written note means to me personally. How I feel when I write it, how I feel when I receive one. I may deter and gush over whatever pen I choose to write with as I have an unnatural love for all school supplies.
If you were going to write a handwritten note to anyone, who would it be and why?
If you have a great idea of who should receive a handwritten note from me, leave a comment and tell me!

I actually have two cards to write out now. One is to my best friend who just lost her son at 14 weeks, she delivered him, got to hold him, see his face and hold his hand, and my heart is breaking for her! The other to a friends grandmother who is going through rehab after a double knee replacement, and has to stay at the nursing home while getting the therapy. She is depressed at not being able to come home. My friend asked that we all write her Granny a card in the hopes that hand written cards will raise her spirits, and since I believe in the value of the written word and actual postal mail, I am happy to help.
