Loose is what a tooth is before it falls out, or the way our clothes fit after dieting! Lose is what you do with your keys or extra pounds. Example: I want to lose weight so my clothes will be loose.

This made me giggle… as a teacher, there are some grammar mistakes that I look at so often I forgot which way is correct.  Top that with teaching Below the Mason Dixon Line where accents can make words sound incorrect and it can be tough.  (I never know whether someone is asking for a pin or a pen!)  This one, though, I know hands down 🙂

This made me laugh.  Simple grammar lesson.  Easy right, but constantly misused.
