in On Writing

Writing is not always easy. Sometimes the blank page is terrifying. Every Saturday, I will post a writing prompt to help get that blank page filled. Stop back by anytime during the week and leave a comment with a link to your post or put your finished/ in progress writing in the comments. Not a writer? Post your art. Any medium is welcome. Make sure to stop by the other participators and leave a comment!

Today is September 11. A day that will forever have a place in history because of the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. This week, think about an event in history that personally effected you or that holds great interest to you. You can choose something that you can find in history books or something from your own personal history.

Linky Tools is not behaving today so please leave your link or your entry in the comments.

I wrote a piece today in memory of 9/11 that will work for this assignment. http://www.bethszimmerman.com/2010/09/11/where-were-you-when-the-world-stopped-turning/ Such a sad day!
