A steel box holds the
     blackest of black

No more box.

No more timid

From the depths
     pouring out

Take hold.

WOW!  I wish I could think of something more prophetic to say, but that's all I've got… just WOW!

Cool – love this intense style.  Great piece – glad I dropped in.  Also dig your take on the rapture of Oklahoma!

Really like how your poem builds to the "No more timid" part and sounds almost like a personal battle cry until the end.

I could say wow
And leave it like that for now
But I will also add such imagery springs to mind
With each word you use in kind
Enjoyed the read
