Starbucks Cups, Really?

If you haven't been on the Internet in the past couple days, you are supposed to be MAD about the holiday cups Starbucks will use this year.

That's them. Are you mad yet? Confused?

It all started with this Facebook post from Joshua Feuerstein an Arizona-based pastor (really?) that quickly went viral, racking up millions upon millions of views. "Starbucks REMOVED CHRISTMAS from their cups because they hate Jesus."

Others, who obviously just like being offended joined in and refuse to support Starbucks because they won't support Christmas. It's really gotten out of hand.

How are those cups different than these from 2014?

Or these from another year previous.

Polar bears, snowmen, and Santa.

Maybe I missed the polar bears, christmas trees, snowmen, and santas in this picture.

Nope. Still don't see them.

They are just cups! People, please stop being offended by everything.

Merry Christmas, pine trees, twinkly lights, NONE OF IT MATTERS!

I am a Christian. And what I KNOW is that faith is not about forcing people to embrace the same faith. It isn't about looking down on those with different beliefs. It's definitely not about Starbucks cup designs. It's about LOVE. The greatest commandment is love. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Before you speak, before you act, ask yourself if your words and actions are rooted and express love. If they don't then you need to look deep and find the problem within and work on yourself instead.

And before you decide to get all offended because a cup is persecuting your religious beliefs, why don't you visit some Christians in Syria who just had their heads chopped off, or Christians in China, or Iraq, or anywhere they are actually persecuted.
