This week's photo challenge from i heart faces was pets.
I learned two very important lessons.
1. Guinea pigs DO NOT like to have their picture taken.
2. It takes 248,642.8 shots to get one face shot.
So…here is what I got.
This is Steve. (Big Brother named him after the monkey in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs)

This is Blackie. Little Brother named him. Obviously because he is black.

I chose not to crop in to the people because I love the off kilter water to sky line in the background.

Honey roses light my vision
after delicate blue waters
pound through soaring bitter rains.
Surviving amid weeds.
Tight-lipped lily beaten to near grave
Awaken. Rise up from sewage and
face your art, naked.
